I love airmiles. $70US round trip to Hong Kong from Austin. Short flight then to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), cycle from Saigon to Angkor Wat in Cambodia, including a ferry crossing of the Mekong River. Several days at Angkor Wat then a flight from Siem Reap to Chiang Mai, Thailand to ring in the New Year appropriately, among temples and elephants. Then Chiang Mai to Phuket area and perhaps some scuba diving. Look forward to photographing rural Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand for spring 2019 paintings!
